early

Leadership
Team

a
Billericay
primary
school,
as
well
as
being
the
maths
subject
leader.
In
this
capacity,
there
have
been
many
occasions
when
I
have
worked
with
or
liaised
with
Lauren
Ramshaw.
I
have
always
found
her
to be professional, knowledgeable and approachable.
All
of
the
maths
coordinators
from
all
of
the
schools
in
Billericay,
across
all
key
stages,
meet
termly
to
discuss
local
issues
regarding
mathematics
within
their
schools
or
new
national
initiatives.
During
these
meetings,
Lauren
was
instrumental
in
her
role
as
a
representative
from
key
stages
3
&
4
(an
area
that
most
of
us
are
unfamiliar
with).
She
was
able
to
discuss
progression
in
these
areas
and
offer
advice
and
support
about
how
to
challenge
more
able
pupils
in
upper key stage 2.
Lauren
has
arranged
‘Gifted
&
Talented’
days
whereby
a
small
selection
of
able
pupils
from
local
schools
were
able
to
take
part
in
a
maths
day
that
challenged
them,
using
secondary
resources.
The
children
found
these
days
very
enjoyable
and
well-organised.
She
also
arranged
‘Puzzle
Mornings’
where
staff
from
her
school
came
into
primary
schools
with
a
range
of
resources
aimed
at
upper
key
stage
2
children.
These
activities
were
delivered
to
a
whole
year
group
(60
children).
The
resources
that
Lauren
and
her
team
selected
were
interactive,
good
fun
and
really
engaged
all
of
the
children,
as
well
as
their
teachers
too!
They
were
so
popular
that
we
bought
many
of
the
resources ourselves so that we can use them more regularly.
